Cool Cabs exclusively use 5 Star Euro NCAP rated vehicles whilst Cool Cabbies have a minimum of a 4 Star EURO NCAP rating. This ensures that only vehicles which achieve the highest rating in a very stringent international safety test are considered. Our current fleet of Renault Modus’ and Nissan Nivinas are no exception – all have a 4 or 5 Star ratings and are fully maintained in order to ensure that they retain this accolade!
Furthermore, the branding on our vehicles increases visibility and encourages members of the public to report any irregular driving or suspicious activity. This obviously assists us in monitoring our drivers and discourages them from taking any chances on the road.
In addition to the aforementioned safety features, all vehicles are tracked 24 hours a day ensuring that at any time we are able to pinpoint your child’s exact location in real time. This safety feature not only helps track your child, but is an obvious deterrent for any would-be hijackers or car thieves. Should the vehicle deviate even slightly from its designated route with your child, alarms sound in our control room and the situation is dealt with as a matter of urgency, with all necessary back up being deployed.
The advanced tracking features which we have installed are also able to track the drivers’ exact behavior from hard braking to speeding or unnecessary revving; we are also able to monitor every stop ensuring that no unauthorized stops are made. This ensures that our drivers are mindful of the laws at all times and respectful of the precious lives they are carrying. Full reports of their driving behavior are kept – and you, as our client, are more than welcome to view these at any time! This means you are able to check whether the driver was on time to fetch your child, the exact time at which your child was dropped off at the designated drop off point, whether the diver at any time went over the speed limit etcetera.
Old School Cool has gone further in ensuring that the state of the art tracking device is not lacking in anything. All vehicles have crash sensors ensuring that if the vehicle is involved in a collision, emergency services are dispatched to its exact location immediately, wasting no time.
In addition to the crash sensors, the vehicles also have the facility to call for an armed body guard, in the case of a roadside breakdown. This ensures that, in the unlikely event the vehicle breaks down, the occupants of the vehicle will be protected whilst they await assistance.
Remote panic buttons create an additional safety feature ensuring that even when outside the vehicle collecting a child or loading their baggage, our drivers are able to get medical and security response immediately.
The last incredible safety feature installed in each vehicle is an onboard camera which records all activity within the vehicles. This reduces any risky behavior on the part of the drivers and ensures that your children are being safely cared for whilst in the cabs.
All in all, no expense has been spared in ensuring that the vehicles are well equipped to deal with any eventuality, however are more importantly equipped to prevent most emergencies from happening from the outset.
